Sylvester Earl Green, 79, and his wife Delores,74, of
Mesa, AZ., died Sept. 20, 2008 the result of an automobile accident. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Earl was born April 4, 1929, in Scottsbluff, NE.
He graduated from Cheyenne High School and lived in Cheyenne for many years.
He married Delores Rediker in August 1952 in Cheyenne. They moved to California in 1960 and to Mesa in 2005.
He is survived by a son living in Orange County, CA; a daughter and son-in-law of Mesa, AZ; three grandchildren, as well as one sister of Chino Hills, CA. and two brothers, both living in Cheyenne.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruby (Mathews) Green; brothers, Paul and Charles; and sisters, Oleta, Ruth Ries and Doris Opal Hawks.
A joint memorial service was held in Mesa, AZ. on Sept. 27, 2008 at the Methodist Church.
