Emil William Roesky Jr.

Emil, age 83, was the son Emil Sr. and Cecil (Kinman) Roesky. He was born at home. He graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in 1950 and served his country during the Korean War with US Army Engineer Corp in Inchon Harbor, Korea from 1952 to 1954. 
He married Amy Kiddoo on December 26, 1954. 
In 2007, he was awarded the Citizen of the Year by the Coffeyville Area Chamber of Commerce, along with Boss of the Year. As a cancer survivor of 20 years, he was an active participant in the Relay for Life. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and his 2-old year son, Billy Roesky.
Survivors include his wife, his children, Celia Witwer, Diane Shamberger, and Bob Roesky, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his sister, Emilie Oldfield. 
Funeral services were held at the First Presbyterian Church, and burial was at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery, both in Coffeyville, Kansas.
