Arthur Leroy JENISON Sept. 10, 1919 ~ Dec. 11, 2008 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. Art passed away peacefully at Evergreen Hospice and went home to be with Jesus after a very short battle with Lymphoma. Art was born in Selby, South Dakota and joined the Navy, Jan 1942 where he served 4 years as a plane tail gunner in World War II. Art married his sweetheart Jeanne Bemis Dec 4, 1943 and recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Art worked at Pacific Trail Sportswear and retired as vice president of sales. Art was a man of integrity, who loved God, family and friendsin that order. He is remembered by all who knew him as a kind and loving man. He is succeeded in death by his daughter Cindy and is survived by his wife Jeanne, brother Bob, daughter Cheryl Wood, son-in law Barry Wood, grandchildren Kristin Trace/Richter, grandson Rob Trace and his wife Kelly, and four great-grandchildren Brady, Morgan, Aidan, Grant. Memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Thursday, December 18th at University Presbyterian Church, 4540 Fifteenth St. NE, Seattle WA. In accordance with family wishes remembrances can be made to the University Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
