"Dee" born Delia Ann Geske in Cleveland Ohio on Jan. 21st, 1954 passed away at her home in Sacramento on May 20, 2011. Beloved wife of Edward Nurge for 38 years, she is also survived by her son, Matthew Nurge, daughter in-law, Keri, grandchildren Kailynne, Ava and Mia. Delia is also survived by brother Thomas Geske, sister in-law Charlotte of Puerto Rico and brother Daniel Geske and sister in-law, Susan of Sacramento as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Florence Geske of Sacramento and by her brother Wally Geske, of Sacramento. Delia managed Joe Marty's El Chico for twenty years and was dearly loved by everyone who knew her. She will live on in our hearts forever. On Wednesday, May 25th, a viewing will be held at Klumpp's Chapel of the Flowers 2691 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento from 11 am- 2 pm. At noon, the celebration of Delia's life will be held at her niece, Christina Phillips' home, 590 Fairgrounds Dr., Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetic Association. Services May 25 2011 11:00-2:00
