Garry Howard Bailey
(7 Sep 1939 - 1 Sep 2005)
Family and friends mourn the loss of Garry Bailey, age 65, who passed away peacefully, on September 1, 2005, at home after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, on September 7, 1939, to Glenn and Violet Bailey. In 1956, he moved with his family to Everett. He graduated from Everett High School in 1959. Garry bravely served our Country in 1963-1964 with the U.S. Army, where he was an expert rifleman M-1. As a career, he worked for Manson Construction Company around the Puget Sound area.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, in 1992. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie; daughter, Karry (Rick) LaBow; son, Jeff (Yukino); his loving mother, Violet; sister, Lyla Jean (Mace) Pecora; brother, Ken (Sandy); sister, Bonny (Chuck) Kent; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service in his honor is planned for all who knew and loved him at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 9, at Evergreen Cemetery, 4504 Broadway, Everett. We would like to extend our thanks to the Hospice staff for the wonderful support and guidance they provided during this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
