LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Vivian G. Timmerman, 70, of 1511 Plantation Circle passed peacefully away at her home on Saturday, October 9, 2004, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at New Hope Baptist Church with Dr. Ernest Purcell officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta. Mrs. Timmerman was the owner of The Travel People and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James Benjamin 'Ben' Timmerman; one daughter, Deborah Timmerman of Augusta; two sons, Glenn D. Timmerman and wife, Susan of Wilmington, N.C. and Barry M. Timmerman and wife, Karen of Columbia, S.C. one sister, Emogene G. Schroeder of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Rachel Kulynych, Michelle Timmerman, Kelsey Timmerman and Zackary Timmerman. Mrs. Timmerman was preceded in death by her parents, John Cary and Emma T. Goldman, also a sister, Harriet G. Butler. Pallbearer s are Don Ball, Chris DeGlis, Mike DeLaigle, Jimmy Lane, Lang Rivers, Harold Schroeder and Robert Wright.
