Johnny Peyton, 63, of Lafe, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
Johnny was born April 12, 1943 in Manila and was a Vietnam veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Lydia C. Peyton of Lafe; daughter, Alice C. Peyton of Paragould; brothers, Danny Peyton and Mark Peyton, both of Paragould, Ralph A. Peyton of Ft. Walton, FL, and Willie Howard Peyton of Dyess, AR; sisters, Patsy Peyton, Betty Wilcox, and Wanda Kisner, all of Paragould; and two grandchildren, Allison Rogers, and Kimberly Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Tempie Marie Peyton; brother, Amos Eugene Peyton; sister, Mary Carolyn Stoddard; and nephew, Amos Eugene Peyton II.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 16th, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould, with Dennis Scudder officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery, Lafe.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, until service time at Mitchell Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Allen Peyton, Danny Peyton, Allen Peyton, Brad Wilcox, Jim Tate, Jim Risner, and Randy Finch.
