Clifford L. Harrison, 79, of Kimball, died in Phoenix, Arizona, on Monday, June 20, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with President Samuel Webb officiating.
Burial will be in the Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ, 85014-5656 . The services have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Clifford LaMont Harrison was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 26, 1932, the son of Clifford and Hazel (Parry) Harrison.
He was a veteran of the Korean War (USAF). Cliff was married to Janice Wendt on December 25, 1967 in Rapid City, South Dakota and later sealed their marriage in the LDS Salt Lake City Temple on September 28, 1984.
Cliff worked as a civilian with the USAF as a Quality Engineer, mainly on the Minuteman missile project. After 37 years he retired in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Cliff and Janice enjoyed traveling the southwest. He also enjoyed water skiing, restoring old cars and being with his family, whom he dearly loved.
Survivors include his wife Janice of Kimball; children John (Denise), Randy (Kathy), Toni (Rob) and Martie (Rick); grandchildren Courtney, Haley, Brandon, Heather, Jacob, Samantha, Eric, Katie, Rachel and Jackson; special niece Tara Harrison and her daughter Hazel.
