Lewis Bosley, 58, died March 25, 2015 in Dighton. He was born June 17, 1956, in Garden City to Lewis Earl, Sr. and Jeannette Maxine Durr Bosley.
He graduated from Dighton High School in 1974 and from Garden City Community College in 1976 with a degree in feedlot management.
Mr. Bosley worked at Coberly Feed Yard at Gove until je designed and built Smokey Hill Feeders, a starter and grower yard in 2001. He moved to Dighton and started Bosley Cattle Co., and was a farmer.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dighton and the Kansas Livestock Association and was a past member of the Dighton Co-op Board.
On May 6, 2006, he married Kelle Weigel in Dighton. She survives. Other survivors include; a daughter and a son; six sisters and a brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will begin at 2pm Tuesday at the United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Bosley Memorial Scholarship Fund at Dighton High School, the Methodist Church or St. Theresa Catholic, all in care of Boomhower Funeral Home, Box 891, Dighton, KS.
