Loretta J. Wallace, 67, of 202 Woodlake Drive, died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at her home. Born November 24, 1939, in Baytown, TX, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin McDonald and Violette McDonald Ashman. She was a member of the Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, John Edward Wallace; two daughters, Dana Marrone of Johnstown, NY, and Melanie R. McKibbin of Fulton, MD; a son, Stephen James Wallace of Easley; two sisters, Wanda Wirthlin of Greenville, and Shirley Holmquist of Anderson; a brother, Harold Ashman of Houston, TX; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007, at the Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior conducted by the Rev. Michael J. Polewczak. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Amsterdam, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 156 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
