Marta Dean Davis

Marta D. Nading, 65, of rural Oswego, passed away at 7:10 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at her home.
She was born October 11, 1952 in Joplin, Missouri to Robert Judson and Mary Naomi (Card) Davis. She grew up in the Abilene and Chapman, Kansas area and was a 1970 graduate of Chapman High School. She later earned an Associate degree at Labette Community College in Parsons.
After moving to Columbus, Kansas, she worked at several factories as well as H&R Block before going to work for Walmart. While working at Walmart, she had several positions before retiring in 2016 after 26 years of service.
Marta was a faithful member of the Bartlett Christian Church and its ladies group since 1994. In earlier years, she was a 4-H leader for the Foland Flyers, a supporter of the Altamont Saddle Club, and a member of the Appaloosa Breeders Association. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her sister, being outdoors, and crafts.
On August 12, 1978, she and Francis Nading were married in Oswego. He survives of the home.

Jeanne Guerrero and her husband, George, of Colorado Springs, CO

She was preceded in death by her parents and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., May 5, 2018 at Lake Creek Cemetery near Bartlett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bartlett Christian Church or the Cancer Center of Kansas. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
