Joel Wayne Apple, born September 25, 1959 in Houston, Texas, passed away April 15, 2019. He was the fifth of 5 children born to Benjamin Wayne Apple and Peggy Apple, both now deceased. He is preceded in death by his brother Paul Apple. He was a lifelong resident of Houston and graduated from Sharpstown High School.
Joel was a carpenter for many years. He was a caring and generous brother, uncle and friend. He had a kind spirit and loved joking and making people laugh. He courageously fought a long battle with cancer and lived with hope and optimism.
Joel is survived by his sister, Cynthia and husband Jack White of Houston, Texas; brother, Elliott and wife Debra Apple of Katy, Texas; sister, Jamie and husband Tom Doherty of Salem, New Hampshire and 17 nieces and nephews.
Miller Funeral Chapel had charge of arrangements.
