Vivian Louise Cuffman Purcell Reid, beloved wife, mother and grand-mother, departed this life at approximately 5:30 am on the morning of October 27, 2014.
Vivian was preceded by her parents, Homer C Cuffman and Margret L Canada Cuffman, two brothers, Charles and George, and two sisters, Bessie and Mary.
Vivian is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jimmy D Reid, her son, Bobby G Purcell, Jr (Kelly), her granddaughter, Julia Purcell, her older sisters, Hazel and Shirley, and special daughter, Pam. Vivian was the youngest of her siblings.
Vivian was born on November 4, 1941, in Goodletsville, TN and had resided in Brentwood, TN since 1984 upon her passing. She was 8 days shy of her 73rd birthday.
Vivian spent her lifetime working in the banking industry, primarily for First American National Bank, and finished out her career with the other banks that acquired First American. After retirement, she and her 2nd husband traveled the United States extensively until failing health prevented them from pursuing further adventures.
She will be sorely missed.
