Source text: page 31 [image 53] arrival in Massachusetts; page 32 [image 54] Ezekiel and his wife Susanna became members of the Charlestown church 27 Aug 1630 which later became the First Church in Boston; on 14 Oct 1632 they left to start a new church in Charleston. He was admitted a freeman 18 May 1631; page 33 [image 55] in 1633 he was appointed a constable; he was a selectman 10 Feb 1634, 1637, 1638 & 1939; page 34 [image 56] by 5 Nov 1640 he with others were chosen to start a new settlemen; by Sep 1642 Woburn was incorporated; 14 Aug 1642 the church in Woburn was started with Ezekiel as a founding member; his two brother joined him; page 35 [image 57] at the first election he was chosen as a selectman in 13 April 1644. BIRTH: By about 1604 (based on estimated date of marriage and chronology of his siblings), son of Thomas and Katherine (Duxford) Richardson. Came from Westmill, Hertfordshire to Massachusetts Bay in 1630. First settled in Charlestown MA; moved to Woburn in 1640. Died in Woburn, 21 October 1647.
Samuel Richardson and Thomas Richardson, brothers of Ezekiel, arrived in New England by 1635; Francis Wyman and John Wyman, sons of Ezekiel Richardson's sister Elizabeth, also came to New England.
Married by 1632, Susanna _____. She married (2) by 27 March 1651 Henry Brooks.
He was brother of SAMUEL RICHARDSON & THOMAS RICHARDSON , and uncle of FRANCE_IS WYMAN and JOHN WYMAN , sons of his sister, Elizabeth (Richardson) Wyman.
