Sarah E. Mossman

Sarah Mosman, daughter of Mark and Lois Gibson Moon, was born on October 25, 1807, in Westminster, Massachusetts. She had at least two siblings. Sarah married David Moon on February 28, 1833, in Salisbury, Vermont. They had at least eight children during their marriage. Sarah and David migrated, first, to Ohio, then, through Illinois, to Kansas, where they settled in present day Aubry. She died on June 5, 1876, in Aubry, Kansas, at the age of 68, and is buried in Aubry Cemetery.
