OBITUARY-REEDSBURG FREEDOM PRESS-7 JANUARY, 1886, WINFIELD
Mr. William M. Montgomery was prostrated on the morning of the 23rd with paralysis of the right side, which terminated fatally on the morning of the 25th. He remained in a semi-conscious condition until death came. Mr. Montgomery was nearly 72 years old.
