Loyd Milford Sartain, 80, of Oakman died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in Birmingham.
Funeral services will be at noon Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home chapel with burial in Flatwoods Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Sartain; mother, Hollis Sartain; and wife, Coleen Sartain.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Sartain of Oakman, Dennis Gurganus of Coker, Roger Gurganus of Cottondale, and Jerry Gurganus of Columbus, Miss.x; sisters, Ola Bell Simpson of Hueytown, Peggy Farley of Midfield, Carolyn Myers of Carbon Hill, Magdalene Thacker of Oakman; brothers, Mack Sartain of Birmingham and Hyman Stough of Oakman; and grandchildren, Amiee, Dan and Alan.
