Thelma McGowan, 81, of Adams, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee.
Thelma was born on Dec. 6, 1923, to Adolph and Olga Flink in Upper Michigan.
Thelma married Rex McChesney on Feb. 14, 1953, in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death. Thelma remarried in September 1978 to Bernard McGowan in Grand Marsh. He also preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Susan Ann Lawsing of Milwaukee; one sister, Louise Derpinghaus of Milwaukee; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Roseberry's Funeral Home & Crematory in Friendship. The Rev. James McNamee will officiate. Burial will follow in Gould Rock Cemetery.
