Don Mark Whitworth, 66, a retired machinist for Baker Hughes, died Thursday, March 28, 2002, at a Fort Worth hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday at Benbrook United Methodist Church.
Don was born May 23, 1935 in Whitesboro to Ira and Elizabeth Whitworth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce; and one brother.
Survivors: Daughter, Donna Patterson and husband, Steve of Fort Worth; son, Russell Whitworth of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Chris and Dusty Patterson of Fort Worth and Matt Whitworth of Weatherford; and uncle, Doyle Whitworth and wife, Nelda of Tioga.
