NACOGDOCHES — Services for Sherman Wilkins, 77, a former League City resident, will be 1:30 p.m. today at Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home in Nacogdoches, with burial following in Ryans Chapel Cemetery near Burke, Texas.
Mr. Wilkins died Monday. He was a 15-year resident of Nacogdoches and had worked for the Harris County Flood Control District.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Wilkins of Nacogdoches; a son, Bob Wilkins of League City; a stepson, Claude Lee Pierson of Houston; a daughter, Bobbye Sanders of Lufkin; a stepdaughter, Jo Anna Sinson of Nacogdoches; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
