Mable Brinson Gardner, 95, of Midland passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010. She was born February 23, 1914 in Queen City, TX to Claude Phillip Brinson and Mattie Rogers Brinson. She married Gordon Harrison Gardner in 1932 in El Dorado, Arkansas and completed life's journey in Midland, Texas. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mable was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Gardner; daughter, Judith Ann Gardner Schwartz; four brothers, Homer Lee Brinson, Jake Leon Brinson, Floyd Hasting Brinson, and Noble Rogers Brinson. She is survived by two grandchildren, Lauren Lee Douglas; and Michael David Brashear; and two great grandchildren, Troy Ray Douglas II; and Christopher David Brashear. She is also survived by one niece, Relda Brinson Sales; and two nephews, H. Vaughn Brinson; and Dolan A. Brinson. Mable will be missed by all who knew her, she was an inspiration to all. Services have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Resthaven Memorial Park North Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
