Clinton Kersey Huber

Sergeant First Class Clinton K. Huber, 48, formerly of Battle Creek and Marshall, died Sunday, July 14, 1957 at Walter Reed Army Hospital, Washington, D. C. He had been ill since January and was admitted to Walter Reed Hospital in March. he was being treated for a blood condition. Sgt. Huber entered the Army in 1941. He served in Army Food Service in Japan from 1951 to 1954. He was assigned to recruiting duty in Muskegon and Battle Creek. He was born in November, 1909 at Marcellus, a son of Kersey R. and Harriet (Lutes) Huber. He attended Marcellus Schools. On November 1, 1941, he married Josephine Enos at Bryan, Ohio. He worked at the Eaton Manufacturing Company in Marshall for 13 years before entering the Army. Surviving in addition to his widow are two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Adams of Centreville and Mrs. Elaine DalPonte of Three Rivers. The body was taken to Halverson Funeral Home in Three Rivers.
