Keith M. Saville Departed from this world on May 28, 2009. He was born on August 26, 1929 in Jefferson City, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. and P.E. in Civil Engineering, was employed by the Calcium Chloride Institute in Washington, D.C. from 1955-1963 and the Indiana Department of Highways from 1964-1989 when he retired. He served in the U.S. Army as an engineering instructor at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia during the Korean War and attended National Presbyterian Church in Washington where he met his wife, Mary. He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Saville (married on May 28, 1955), his son Gordon K. Saville (wife Karen), granddaughters Taylor Saville and Charity Saville Behrman (husband Jamie) and great grandson Harrison Behrman. His daughter, Nancy E. Saville pre-deceased him in February, 1989. He was an active member of Second Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon, participated in 12 mission trips and held the coveted position of "head box man" for Christmas Benevolence for 15+ years. He also volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and the Salvation Army. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. Visitation will be at Second Presbyterian Church from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2nd followed by services at 2:00 p.m. Any donations will be given to the Christmas Benevolence Endowment in the name of Nancy E. Saville in care of Second Presbyterian Church. Arrangements and care entrusted to Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel.
