Betty, 90, of Eaton Rapids, MI. passed away on Januray 31, 2014. She was born to Oran Earl and Pearl (Cleveland) Mahan.
Betty worked at Smart Bread Box and the VFW National Home. She loved crafts and flower gardening. Betty was a life member of the Eaton Rapids Wesleyan Church and served as Sunday school secretary for 45 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Ruben Earl, George, Clifford, Clayton Mahan; sisters, Ruth Bowens, Florine Butler; grandson, John Shumaker; great granddaughter, Sommer Dircks.
Surviving are her husband of 71 years, Anthony Proctor; daughters Charlene (David) Shumaker, Mary (Edsel) Reibling; son, Anthony Proctor Jr., grandchildren, James (Angela) Watling, Julie (Shaun) Dircks, Heather Proctor, Robert (Nitasha) Shumaker, Todd (Alita) Reibling, Audrey (Paul) Rhoades, Duane Reibling,; 13 great grandchildren; sister in law, Joyce Mahan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Skinner Funeral Home Eaton Rapids.
