Funeral for Olivia Lawson Howard, 84, of Center will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Watson and Sons Chapel, Center, with the Rev. Claude Decelle officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.
Howard died July 11, 2005. Born Sept. 15, 1920, in Mansfield, La., she was the daughter of Dewey and Avis Bush Lawson. She was a homemaker and owned East Texas Poultry Supply with her husband, John Alvis Howard, who preceded her in death. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Shelbyville.
Survivors include sons, John Howard, Dewey Howard, Bob Howard, Howell Howard, Steve Howard and Thomas Howard, all of Center, and Dana Howard of Jefferson; daughters, Jeannie Dessilla of Chicago and Olivia Campbell of Franklin; sisters, Ruth Peelor of California, Marie McGuire of Santa Ana, Calif., and Bonnie Moore of Center; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
