Treva G. Beckmann, 83, of Midland passed away on June 20, 2013.
She was born on January 31, 1930 to Thomas and Ava Oglesby in Breckenridge, Texas and was a certified child of the Oil Patch.
Treva was a language arts teacher and worked in Texas, Missouri and New Mexico. She was a member of Midland Society of Univ. Woman, Republican Woman's Club and Geo Wives. God has once again re-gained the presence of a true inquirer and seeker of His presence. Always reading for a better understanding of relationships and their delicate nature, Treva lived a life of questions and study. To be her friend was to experience a loyal and protective companion. She had a tender heart and will be missed by those she cared to love.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Crosby and Melissa Danner and her close personal friends and caregiver, Ron Scroeder and Paul Hamels.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 28 at 11:00am at First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
