Julia Ann Malone
(15 Nov 1794 - 14 Jun 1860)
Julia Malone, daughter of Rev. Charles Malone and the former Mary Weaver, was born on the 15th day of November 1794 in Jackson, North Carolina. Later her father took a post in Milledgeville, Georgia.
At the age of 17, Julia married Rev. Mark Howard, a young Methodist minister, on the 12th of December 1811. Several years after they married Julia and her young family relocated to Autauga County, Alabama.; where Rev. Howard began preaching.
Rev. Howard and Julia had eight children: Joseph Henry, William, Leonidas, Sarah Ann, Mary Edith, Cincinnatus, Charles Malone and Nehemiah Milton.
Julia Malone Howard departed this life on the 14th of June 1860 at the age of 65 years, 6 months and 29 days. She was laid to rest beside her beloved husband and her young children that preceded her to the tomb.
