George Agustus Henderson

George Agustus Henderson, 88, died here Saturday night in Washington County Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 P.M. in Blackburn Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. H.T. Pumprey, Lloyd Kimbrough, W.H. Venters and B.C. Givens officiated. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery here, with Blackburn Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Henderson was a native of Georgiana, Ala. He had made his home in Chipley for 40 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosetta Henderson of Chipley; a daughter, Mrs. Willie Mae Cook of Chipley; a step-daughter, Mrs. Inez Arnold of Apopka and a step-son, James M. Johns of Chipley.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren and two brothers, R.H. Henderson of Chatman, Ala., and Edd Henderson of Pensacola.
