Mrs. Rosa Greer, wife of Ed. L. Greer, was one of the best know women in this section and was also well known in many other sections of the state.
She was born in Lake City, August 7, 1875, and had been a resident of New Smyrna since 1912. She had also resided in several other cities in the state, Mr. Greer being one of the best known commercial traveling men in Florida.
Mrs. Greer was an accomplished musician and was for many years recognized as a leader in musical circles in the state. She was a woman of education and culture and the announcement of her death has brought a feeling of sorrow throughout this part of the state.
