Sharon grew up at Temple, OK, where she made her home until moving to Duncan a few months ago. She married Mike Shelton on January 19, 1979 at Burkburnett, TX.
She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. In her younger years she enjoyed coyote hunting and fishing. She liked being outdoors, working in the yard and going to yard sells. Sharon attended Jubilee Full Gospel Tabernacle in Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Pattye King.
Survivors include her husband, Mike, of the home; 4 daughters, Kim Turner of Kingston, OK, Lynn and Paul Arzola of Duncan, OK, Paula and Allen Furr of Kingston and Angela McCraw of Duncan; a brother, Ricky Lynn King of Wichita Falls, TX; 10 grandchildren, Derek and Tasha Spanhanks, Robert V. Spanhanks, Tori Arzola, Charlie Morris, Jolani Bingham, Caitlyn Furr, Stanton Rumbaugh, Keith Hartsell and Preston Isaac; 3 great grandchildren, Lexus and Riley Spanhanks and Jared Thomas; other relatives and many friends.
