Betty Jane Malone 2, Victim of Pneumonia
Betty Jane Malone 2, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Malone of Coaling died of Pneumonia early this morning at Druid City Hospital. The Child had been at the hospital for several days suffering from sever burnes received when her clothing became ignited before an open fire at her home.
She developed Pneumonia on Sunday Night.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am Friday from the Coaling Methodist Church with Rev Daugh Officiating. Interment will be at Coaling Cemetery with Mathis - Jones in charged.
Surviving are parents Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Malone and two brothers, Carver and Lewis, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Lewis.

Coaling Girl Suffers Burns from Crate Fire
Betty Jane Malone 3-years-old Coaling child suffered severe burns early last week in a fire at her home, remains in serious conditions at Druid City Hospital. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Malone.
The little girl's clothing caught fire while she was playing in front of an open grate last Wednesday, relatives said. Mrs. Malone is the sister of O.V. Cox (nee Mabel Lewis) of this City, she is also a niece of Mrs. W.L. Wood, and Mrs. Mayme Payne of Tuscaloosa.
