Funeral services for Tom Hough, 71, Zavalla resident, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the graveside in the Zavalla Cemetery, Rev. Womack officiated.
Mr. Hough died Sunday morning at his residence in Zavalla. He was born in Panola County on July 24, 1884, and had lived at Zavalla for the past 24 years. He was a farmer and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margie Hough; three sons, Jim Hough of Houston, Archie Hough of Humble and Charlie Hough of Lufkin; daughter, Mrs. Lonie B. McBroom of Zavalla; brothers, Willie Hough of Lufkin and Sam Hough of Herty; sisters, Mrs. Dora Duncan of Houston and Mrs. Lula Jones of Conroe; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
