Carl Samford Brown, 39, of Route 14, Athens, died Friday in Athens.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Carl Witty and Curtis Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Brown was the owner of Carl's Shaw Street Market. Mr. Brown died from injuries he received from a robbery in his store.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Brown; two daughters, Britney Brown and Kellie Brown, both of Athens; his parents, Clint and Marge Brown; his mother, Sarah Plumer of Tallahassee, FL; two brothers, Clint Brown Jr. of Decatur and Clifford Brown of Tallahassee; and a sister, Sala Strickland of Tallahassee.
