LONE OAK – Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Christian Church here for Raymond H. Smith, 78, a long-time Lone Oak resident who died Wednesday morning in a Greenville hospital.
The Rev. Bob Priest will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville.
Born July 6, 1893, in Lone Oak, he was the son of W.F. and Laura Frazier Smith. He married the former Donna Vanlandingham June 22, 1920, in Lone Oak.
A retired employe of Texaco, he was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by the widow; one son, Richard Smith of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Hurst of Lone Oak; one brother, Victor Smith of Lone Oak.
