Dianne Fulcher Bright, age 73 passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas. She was surrounded by her family and loving husband of 55 years, Curtis Earl Bright, who never left her side.
A memorial service is scheduled to celebrate her life at the First United Methodist Church of Mineola, Texas on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1pm. Dianne and Curtis were united in marriage there 55 years ago and they have been inseparable ever since.
She is survived by husband, Curtis Earl Bright, of Holly Lake Ranch, daughter, Rebecca Dianne Bright, of Arlington, Texas, son, Benjamin Fulcher Bright and daughter-in-law Vicky of Gladewater, Texas, granddaughter, Mary Lauren Tampke and husband Chris of Washington, Pennsylvania, granddaughters, McKenzie Lee Bright and Maggie Lou Bright of Gladewater, great-grandchildren, Sutton McCoy Edwards and Avery Ann Tampke niece, Beverly Ryan and husband Johnny, of San Antonio; nephew, Gary Bright and wife Lisa of Mineola, numerous cousins and special friends.
Born on June 19, 1941 to Fanelle Bruner and Norman Fulcher in Terrell, Texas, she spent her childhood years growing up in Mineola. She was a 1959 graduate of Mineola High School, the 1959 Mineola Watermelon Festival Queen and attended Tyler Junior College, later living in Huntsville while Curtis attended Sam Houston State University, then moving to Gladewater to establish their home and business, Curtis Bright Photography.
She was a dedicated wife, loving mother and proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Her interests were few other than for her love and service to her husband, Curtis Earl, but she loved her home, entertaining and traveling to distant locations.
