Claude served in the United States Army, he was a member of the Tennison Memorial United Methodist Church and he retired from the City of Mt. Pleasant.
He is survived by his loving wife Lucretia (Ringgold) Alexander whom he married on September 12, 1953; his daughter & son-in-law, Lisa & Robert Werline; daughter & son-in-law, Claudia Alexander & Stephen Johnson; grandchild & spouse, Lauren & Derek Eggert, granddaughter, Rachel Werline; great grandchildren, Hudson & Addison Eggert; brother & sister-in-law, Bobby & June Alexander; brother & sister-in-law, Thomas & Nancy Alexander; sister, Marianne Casey; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Tranquil Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Tennison Memorial Methodist Church at a later date.
