GRANBURY - Calvin Patton, 80, a retired postal worker, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Acton Baptist Church in Acton. Officiating: the Rev. Glenn Ward.
Burial: Acton Cemetery in Acton. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Wiley Funeral Home.

Calvin Patton was born on Oct. 5, 1918, in Norman, Okla.
He married Nellie High on April 13, 1974, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was a member of Acton Baptist Church in Acton.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 28 years and was a member of V.F.W. Post No. 7835 in Granbury, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces 23rd Photo Recon Squadron during World War II.
He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Paul Patton; his parents, Paul and Nellie Morrow Patton; brother, Donald Patton; and a sister, Willoden.
Survivors: Wife, Nellie Patton of Granbury; sons, John Patton Jr. of Granbury and Michael Patton of Fort Worth; daughter, Mischa Brantley of Fort Worth; sisters, Pat Mayo of Arlington and Erlene Way of San Jose, Calif.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
