Steven Linville, 56, of Verda passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. Born May 9, 1958 in Harlan, he had lived here all of his life. Steven was a retired coal miner, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don Dean Linville and Sevilla Jean Middleton Linville.
Survivors include his son, Timothy Steven Linville, Baxter; two brothers, Duane Linville; David Linville; and one sister Donna Middleton and husband, Tim, all of Verda.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Alexandra Renee Ann Linville and Nicholas Brayden Drake Linville, and a host of other family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
