Ralph Stewart Braden

Braden, Ralph Stewart, age 86, of Bellbrook, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living. Ralph was born November 2, 1922 in Stow, Ohio to Gertrude (Freyhage) Braden and Carl Lehman Braden.
He served his country proudly as a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WWII, as a bombsite instructor at Yale University. He was a brilliant inventor who was credited with many patents in the appliance industry.
He retired from Frigidaire Division of General Motors, as Assistant Chief Engineer for Refrigerated Products. Ralph was a beloved husband and father who was devoted to his girls. He was a member of the T.O.M. Club (retired Frigidaire Executives), and recently became a member of the American Legion in Delafield, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Braden, and sister Mary (Braden) Parker. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 63 years; two adored daughters; and 4 grandchildren.
Graveside Services, 4 p.m. Saturday, Bellbrook Cemetery. (Conner & Koch, Bellbrook) In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Ralph Braden Memorial Fund to show their appreciation to the staff at Brighton Gardens for their loving care (c/o Fifth Third Bank, 6301 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, OH 45459).
