[Royce lived with his parents in Twp. 13 Placer County in 1900. They had arrived in CA between 1885 and 1894. In 1910 he lived with them at Sacramento. In 1911 Sacramento City Directory lists him at as traveling salesman boarding at 3120 7th Avenue. After that he followed his father's profession as a house painter.]

Pearl Ivory married Royce Aurora Taylor when she was 22 (abt 1917). He had been married to another woman in 1903 likely in Sacramento as he was living there in 1910 with his parents when the census listed him as married for seven years. [Wife not living with him.]

WWI registration: "Royce Aurora Taylor, age 33 born Aug. 27, 1885 lived at 9 Byington Avenue in San Francisco. He worked for W. J. Donovan as a house painter. His next of kin was Mrs. Pearl Taylor. "

WWII Registration: "Royce Aurora Taylor born at Kurrien , Kansas Aug 27 1885 worked for Itlo American Paint Co. He lived at 740 Natoma Street, San Francisco. His next of kin was Hazel Taylor of the same address.
