"Robert Arnold Allen, Sr., 79, of 7516 E. Oak, Pleasant Valley in Clay County, died Sunday at Research Medical Center. He was born in Kansas City and had lived in this area 38 years. Mr. Allen was a retired office worker Mark's Parking Stations, Inc. He was a Baptist. Mr. Allen was a member of the Pleasant Valley Civic Organization. He leaves a son, Robert A. Allen, Jr., of Raytown; a daughter, Mrs. Eloise Roberts of Whittier, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery."
