Fred F. Hoadley

Fred F. Hoadley of Route 1, Flynn Road, Three Oaks passed away at the Michigan Skilled Care Center, Niles, at 1:30 A.M. February 19, where he had been for the past four days.
Mr. Hoadley was born in Chikaming Township on September 19, 1891, the son of Rodney P. and Nellie Wright Hoadley. He was 87 years old at the time of his death.
On December 14, 1913 he married Vernice Sherrill. She passed away March 21, 1953. He married Clara Case April 7, 1954, she survives.
Mr. Hoadley is survived by four sons: Roy, Rodney, Glenn, all of Three Oaks; Hubert of San Luis Obispo, Cal.; two daughters, Josephine (Leslie) Weaver of Jackson and Doris (James) Zabel of Three Oaks; a step daughter, Marilyn (Donald) Bowker of Okemos, MI; 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He also is survived by one sister Mabel Wright of Phoenix, Arizona.
Mr. Hoadley had lived his entire life in the area and was a retired farmer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, Feb. 22 (today) at the Connelly-Noble funeral Home with Rev. G. Patrick White officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Hoadley was a member of the Farm Bureau. Memorial contributions may be made to the Three Oaks Ambulance Association.
