Eddie Woodward, age 65, of Batesville, Arkansas died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born on February 17, 1945 in Grubbs, Arkansas to Edward Woodward and Goldie Ensley Woodward. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Eddie Lynn Woodward and John Douglas Woodward; one daughter, Patricia Elaine Woodward; and three brothers, Bill Woodward, Johnny Woodward, and Roy Woodward.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Patricia Woodward; two sons, Trooper Michael Woodward and wife Kathy of Hampton, and Jeremy Woodward and wife Julie of Cave City; two brothers, E. W. Woodward of Batesville, and Charles Woodward of Desha; and six grandchildren, Brittney, Kayla, Elizabeth, Elijah, John and Abigail Woodward.
Pallbearers are Terry Gibbs, Chuck Woodward, Benji Bishop, Hank Williams, Jimmy Downs, and Eric Woodward. Honorary pallbearers are Howard West, Jerry Middleton, Benny Bishop, and Billy Huff.
