Ruby O'Neal Richardson, 92, of Jonesboro, AR., died Friday, October 14, 2011, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro.
She was born March 16, 1919, to John and Elizabeth Goatcher, of Tuckerman.
Ruby was a member of the Nettleton Baptist Church. She was deeply devoted to studying God's word.
She was a secretary of Fidelis II Sunday School Class. She also enjoyed singing gospel songs and singing in the church's senior adult choir was a delight. She was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Jonesboro.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Goatcher, sisters, Bernice Guffey and Jackie Lancaster.
Survived by her husband Albert Richardson of the home.
Four sons, Dwayne Richardson of Jonesboro; Thomas and wife Tina of Modesto, California; James and wife Tricia of Tupelo, Mississippi; and Bruce Richardson of Little Rock.
Seven grandchildren and ten great -great grandchildren.
Funeral service were at the Nettleton Baptist Church. Burial was at Jonesboro Memorial Park with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
