Ruby Jean Tuttle

Ruby Jean Tuttle was born in Strawg, Oklahoma, USA on November 13, 1928 to Clifford and Susie Tuttle. She married Vernon Norval Hancock in March 1950 in Tijuana Mexico and together they had 2 boys; Norval Gene Born 20 Jan 1951 - 20 Apr 2023 and Shawn Duwayne Born 17 Nov 1954 - 1 Feb 2020.
After retiring from MagneTek in 1991 and moving to Stilwell, OK. She and her husband Vernon loved to travel to Lake Texhoma to visit with their best friends of 50 plus years Lloyd and Elizabeth Reese. She loved fishing, she loved to work in her garden and flower beds, she loved taking care of her family and was a wonderful cook. Early into their marriage Jean attended many calf roping events alongside her husband even made shirts for Vernon, herself and the two boys to all match for the rodeos. (Vernon was a roper for many years) She and Vernon loved to play dominoes with their friends and enjoyed dancing with one another. In there younger days their house was the gathering place for the dancing on Saturday nights. Jean Loved her family very much especially her grandchildren, her house is where all the family gathered for all the holidays.
She "Mema" and Papa "Vernon" were the foundation of the family and will be missed dearly by all. she was most defiantly the glue that held the family together.
