James Edward "Jim" Freeman, 37, of Cleveland died Thursday at Gwinnett Medical Center following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born in LaGrange and was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Butler Freeman. He was employed by Southern Curb Construction Co., Winder. He attended Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tania Freeman, Cleveland; son, Ryan Freeman, Cleveland; daughters, Alex Freeman and Chesnee Freeman, both of Cleveland; father, Sonny Freeman, LaGrange; sister, Amy Ward, LaGrange; brothers, Marc Freeman, LaGrange, and Samuel Freeman, Tifton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
