MR. LEAK
VALLEY -- Mr. Rudolph "Rudy" Leak Jr., 57, of Valley died Sunday morning, Aug. 10, 2003 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Ga.
Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Weiss and Mr. David Bradshaw officiating.
Mr. Leak is survived by his wife, Neva Andrews Leak; two sons, Jonathan Rudolph (Denise) Leak of Senoia, Ga., and Thomas Benjamin (Kelli) Leak of Phenix City, Ala.; his daughter, Judith Bonita Leak (Scott) Tennant of Aurora, Ill.; his mother, Mary Jim Leak of Valley; his brother, Arnold Leak of Valley; and eight grandchildren, Lauren Leak, Bethany Leak, Shepherd Leak, Ethan Leak, Sean-Thomas Leak, Samantha Tennant, Joshua Leak and Quinlan Leak.

Born March 25, 1946 in Chambers County, Mr. Leak was an employee of Chester-Jensen of Chester, Pa. He was a loving husband, father and "Pop" for his grandchildren. His passions were writing, hunting, the out-of-doors and cooking. Highlights of his long and distinguished career include a commendation from NASA, and he was the owner of two patents. Mr. Leak was a member of Spring Road Christian Church. He was the son of the late the Rev. J. Rudolph Leak Sr.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 12 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
