Franklin Roosevelt Chieruzzi

Franklin "Frank" Roosevelt Chieruzzi, age 77, of Yorba Linda, Calif., and a 19-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010, at his residence in Yorba Linda due to complications from cancer.
Frank was born in June, 1933, in Tarentum, Pa., the son of the late Anselmo and Valentina (Servi) Chieruzzi. He was a veteran of the Korean War, he was an avid baseball player in his younger years.
As a graduate of Duquesne University and California State University, Long Beach, Frank worked as a junior high and high school mathematics teacher for over 35 years, primarily in the Long Beach, Calif. area. Following retirement from teaching in 1991, Frank settled in Bullhead City, and was a long time employee of the River Palms Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, Nev.
Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Chieruzzi, of Beaver, formerly of Tarentum, in 2008.

Frank is survived by his son, Dennis Chieruzzi, of Fountain Valley, Calif.; daughter, Teresa (Michael) Wilson, and granddaughter Kendall, of Yorba Linda, Calif.; brother, Renato (Jean) Chieruzzi, of Tarentum, and their family; and sister-in-law, Ruth Chieruzzi, of Beaver, Pa. and her family.
Services and interment were held on June 17, 2010, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Mission in Needles, Calif., and Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens in Mohave Valley Ariz.
