Will of Thomas Strogull of Lide the Elder 1551 In his will, Thomas Strogull mentions the following: That he wishes to be buried at Lydd. His wife Johan (who has children of a previous marriage, perhaps including Marten Hall). His sister Neale (possibly the wife of John Neale of Hythe whose Will is dated 1557). His brother John (who is deceased) and his children of whom only John, Thomas and Erasmus are named. His children, by a former marriage, John (who is made executor), and Agnes the wife of Alayn Eps who is deceased (will dated 1551 Lydd). Others mentioned include - Johan Strogull now the wife of Robert Typpe (whose will is dated 1572 of Lydd), and Thomasen Strogull now the wife of John Typp (whose will is dated 1555 Lydd).
