Eldon was the youngest of three children born to Eldon Sims Sr. and Donna Chin Sims. He served in the United States Navy as an aircraft mechanic, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
Eldon is survived by his wife, Sue Sims; sisters, Donna Calhoun and Betty Peterson; daughter, Dawna Webster; step daughters, Michelle Rogers and Terri (Spencer) DeBuff; step son, Bert (Jen) Bowler, and multiple grand and great grandchildren that he absolutely adored. He is also loved and survived by many children that him and Sue lovingly fostered.
Eldon was known for his humor and willingness to always lend a helping hand. He enjoyed riding his harley, spending time with his family and dogs, and showing his American pride. Eldon served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft mechanic and received the National Defense Service Medal. He was a man that truly loved his family and country.

Eldon Elbert Sims Jr., 69, of Santa Rosa, California, died January 26th, 2020, in Billings, Montana. He was born July 11th, 1950, in Santa Rosa, CA, the youngest of 3 to Eldon Sims Sr. and Donna Sims (Chin).
In the early 70’s, Eldon served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft mechanic and received the National Defense Service Medal.
Eldon was a God fearin’, U.S. luvin’, Harley ridin’, Dog luvin’, Family First, True American, kinda man.
Eldon is survived by his sisters Donna Calhoun and Betty Petersen; daughter Dawna Webster; grandson Preston Webster Jr.; Extended family members include Sue Sims, Michelle Rogers, Terri & Spencer De Buff, Bert & Jen Bowler, Sharon Locklear, Denise Leonard, Dynine Leslie, Tina Thompsen and many grand and great grandchildren that were loved by him dearly!
A formal military service will be held at 2p.m. Thursday, January 30th, at Yellowstone National Cemetery,
